Monthly Assessments
What do my monthly Association dues cover?
Your monthly Association dues cover basic cable television service; internet service, propane for fireplaces; trash removal; water and sewer services; snow removal; lawn maintenance; exterior building maintenance; swimming pool, spa and fitness center maintenance; banquet facility maintenance and repair; and road and building lighting and maintenance. A portion of your dues also is deposited into a reserve fund for ongoing major maintenance and repairs of common elements.
How can I make my monthly assessment payment?
Monthly assessment payments are made automatically using a system called Bill.com. Payments are due by the first of the month, payable no later than the 10th. You select any date between the 1st and the 10th for the payment to be automatically deducted from your checking account. The system will send you a reminder in advance of the payment and you have online access to change or update your account. Payments are safe and secure.

Who do I contact regarding my monthly dues payment?
If you have questions about automatic billing options, these should be directed to Susanne Ball, Clifton Larson Allen LLP, telephone 715-234-6156.
Questions about the amount of your billing statement or past-due accounts should be addressed by completing a form on Contact Us. It will be directed to the Treasurer for response.
Building or Unit Maintenance and Repair
What if I see something that needs attention or repair on the Tagalong property?
“Contact Us” on the website and your inquiry will be directed to the proper party. If this is an emergency situation, please contact either Dirk VanderBent at #715-645-1041 or PP&E Director, Mike Underland at #651-230-4827.
What about trash and recycling?
The Association has a company remove trash and recyclables from the dumpsters. Here is information and guidelines regarding this service. You may want to print this and post it in your unit for future reference.
Do we have a list of vendors who I can contact for issues in the unit?
There is a list of contractors that have been used and recommended by HOA members. The list can be located under Association/Property & Grounds.
Internet and Cable Service
Who can help me with questions regarding internet, electric services, or cable services?
Questions regarding initial router configuration, Internet connectivity and related issues can be directed to HOA member, Brad Gehring. Brad is the Chair of the TAC Advisory Counsel. Check the member directory for his contact information.

What internet and cable expenses am I responsible for?
You are responsible for monthly electric utility bills, upgraded cable services and providing a router for the internet connection. The router will need to be configured to work with the Association service.
Boat Slips and Docks
How do I obtain a dock for my boat?
The Operations Director oversees the assignment of boat docks for the season and short-term rentals. If you require only a short-term rental, the Short-term Rental Request can be found under Association/Property & Grounds. The Operations Director or Property Coordinator will contact you regarding the request.
Are there boat slips available for family and guests?
This year, 2021, we have many new members who have requested a boat slip. Unfortunately, we may not be able to provide a slip for family or guests. There are however, several locations on Red Cedar Lake to launch a boat. If additional slips become available, we will update this information. Thank you.

Access to Lockhaven and Tayside is controlled through a keypad located on the main doors. For security purposes, access is also limited to members, family or guests of Tagalong. There are two different codes–one for the member and family, and another for tenants of rental units. You will need to login as a member to access this information located under Member Services, Board of Directors tab.
